Inspired by the music of George Michael
One night. One bar. Every relationship in the room under pressure.
ARRANGEMENTS is a world premiere interactive musical set inside a queer nightclub built by a man who died before he could see what it became. His sister runs it. His daughter tends bar. His best friend — the one who disappeared — is back.
Over the course of one charged night, the people who built their lives inside these walls are forced to reckon with the arrangements they've made — about love, loyalty, grief, and who gets to stay.
At a critical moment, the audience votes. The community in the room decides what happens next.
World Premiere. Postponed. Free Range Brewing. Charlotte, NC. New dates TBA.

George Michael was one of the defining pop voices of the 80s and 90s—half of Wham!, then a solo superstar who sold over 125 million records. Behind the hits was a songwriter obsessed with freedom, faith, love, and the cost of living in the spotlight.
His music tackled desire, heartbreak, and the search for authenticity. He wrote about secrecy and coming out before he could do it himself—and when he did, his work became an anthem for LGBTQ+ liberation and self-acceptance. "Freedom! '90" wasn't just a single; it was a declaration.
He also faced struggles that shadowed his career: years in the closet under intense scrutiny, legal battles, addiction, loss, and the weight of fame. That tension—between the glossy pop and the private pain—is what makes his songs so durable.
The two words that seem to most define George Michael—at least through his discography—are freedom and faith.

He built this bar. He died here — AIDS, Christmas Day. He never left. Everything in this room is his: the walls, the staff, the music, his daughter. The show is, in some ways, his.

Former pop star, recovered addict. Built his sobriety around this room. Sasha’s return is tearing the scar tissue open.

Co-owner. Jamie’s older sister. She chose the bar, the kid, the marriage — and she’s proud of it. But she’s been saying not yet for a long time.

Co-owner. The one who kept the lights on after Jamie died. Loyal, generous, and always three steps ahead of everyone else in the room.

Jamie’s daughter. Raised in this bar. Knows every corner of it, every regular, every ghost.

Worst bartender, best therapist. Single mom. Exhausted, not lazy. Hopes Martin doesn’t fire her.
Ray’s former partner and bandmate. He’s been gone a long time. Tonight he’s back.
Rowan’s friend. Came for her birthday. Got stood up. Alone in a room full of people with decades of history he doesn’t share.
